DME Doctor Alert: Another AIG Expert Witness

See Also Doctors who Work for Insurance Companies

In January alone two Injured Contractors had their cases denied by the BRB where this doctors reports were utilized.

Jeffrey Richmond, M.D. (Medical Reports)

Dr. Richmond is Board-certified in orthopaedic surgery.

This doctor who does DME’s for AIG caused at least two back injury claimants to lose their claims over the opinions of no less than three other qualified doctors in each case.

In his opinion, which is of course paid for by AIG, the back injuries are never work-related and in one claim is referred to as only minor whiplash.

As with Dr John Dorland Griffith, he manages to “impress”  ALJ Kennington and ALJ Krantz.

And the report that Kennington was so impressed with was meerly a “Peer Review”, this doctor never saw the patient but defied  three treating physicians reports.

    Hello again,

Being one of those contractors that this article is about is disheartening to say the least. I am suffering so much physical and mental abuse at the hands of my first crooked Claimant lawyer and a crooked insurance system that words cannot describe. I am on constant pain and anxiety meds. This fight has taken longer than I was even in Iraq! I spent years working 12/7′s AFTER MY INITIAL ACCIDENT and it had NO IMPACT WHATSOEVER ON MY SPINAL CORD INJURIES! What are you NUTS! Dr. Richmond, you need to be disbarred, banned from medical practice, and fined for perjury! You are a paid hack who has no business making life or death decisions based on faulty medical records decades old of people you have never even laid eyes on.

Dr. Richmond, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your nether regions!!!

Always remember that what goes around comes around….sooner or later you will pay dearly for your money based lying, karma is a bitch.

Not only two cases involving Dr. Jeffrey H. Richmond, but he repeated his spiel in at least seven other cases in the past two years, in every single one the injury in Iraq he claims is NOT related to the persistent back injury diagnosed by many other expert doctors.

Several judges have already seen through his hoax, but this is of little consolation to those who suffer from Richmond’s ongoing fraud.

Why is it that Richmond never faces his victims, the DOL case files invariably describe his opinions based on “peer review’ “record review” and similar BS.
AIG now gets away with sending your medical files miles away to a doctor living in Great Neck, New York, who never examines you and always decides you are not worth DBA compensation.

    Good luck and good night.

    Hello again,

Another curious issue: WHERE ARE ALL OF 8 HOUR EXTENSIVE PHYSICALS WE WERE ALL REQUIRED TO TAKE IN HOUSTON, TX!

Why is it never mentioned in any of these “decisions”???

Everyone as a full physical, then are DENIED MEDICAL CARE BECAUSE OF “PRE-EXISTING” INJURIES!!!

WTF??!! I could not pass a physical when I left Iraq…how are those two things not related? How can anyone not relate these two facts unless either they are 1. Senile and should have retired years ago, or 2. They are using a hidden agenda implemented by the DOL to save money and deny benefits.

Can I ask if Grover E. Asmus was the attorney for AIG in these cases, because I think I can add another one to your total. Just wondering if this is another consistency in this ongoing fraud.
